Lord of the Rings: The Search by Rio Grande Games. Two Hobbits, Sam and Frodo, begin their journey in the Shire and travel through the unknown lands of Middle Earth. One of them must find the One Ring and take it to Mount Doom and there destroy it. Through their travels, they meet others who join them on their journey and face dangers they must overcome, gathering victory points along the way. During the game, players will build the game map on which the game is played from land tiles. When they have completed their exploration and the location of Mount Doom is known, the two hobbits race to the mountain. When one of the Hobbits reaches Mount Doom, the game ends and players add up their victory points. Approximate playing time: 40 minutes. For 2 players.
